Southeastern Exotics evolved from owning our first Ball

 

Python to collecting an ever changing variety of reptiles and

 

amphibians. We are like kids in a candy store (spending every

 

spare penny to satisfy our reptile "sweet tooth"). Our dream is

Shipping Information:

 

Since shipping delicate reptiles and amphibians can be an art form

 

in itself, we will contact every buyer personally to arrange shipping,

 

pick up, or personal delivery at the many shows that we attend as

 

vendors.

 

Terms and Conditions of Sale:

 

Unless otherwise agreed upon, all orders are to be paid via

 

pre-payment, Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard) and Paypal.

 

All Shipments are sent overnight via FedEx .

 

We ship on Tuesday and Wednesday.

 

We DO NOT SHIP on Thursdays!

 

If you insist on a shipment to go out on Thursday, we can not guarantee live arrival if there is any delays in transit. Delays in transit could result in you not getting your geckos until Monday and you could get dead, or dying geckos if they are held over the weekend at a hub.

 

Orders must be picked-up at the Fedex Ship Center within three (3) hours of their arrival time and we must be notified immediately

if any animal has perished during transit if any store

credit is desired if this were to occure.

 

Southeastern Exotics reserves the right to request photographs

and/or have the animal(s) in question returned.

 

We Have a 48 HOUR guarantee on all captive born reptiles from

from the date shipped on reptiles shipped to you.

 

Excluding the following exceptions:

 

-SoutheasternExotics.com is not responsible for

condition of animals that are a result of carrier delay / failure.

-Animals shipped through areas that are below 40 or above 85

degrees are not guaranteed. If special shipping arrangements are needed, please ask via email.

-Package must be accepted and signed for upon

FIRST delivery attempt.

-We cannot be responsible for losses due to carrier mishandling.

 

At our discretion, all dead arrival claims must be accompanied with a letter of "Cause of Death" by a current, licesened veterinarian. Claim must be photo documented (photos of the deceased animal).  No exceptions.

 

A "dead arrival" with any documented "buyers remorse" prior to shipping, will be considered suspect behavior and treated as such.

 

 

*Please notify us of weather conditions in your area so that we

may pack your shipment(s) accordingly.

 

 

 

All sales at any expo or trade shows are final.

We cannot be held responsible for any mishandling of an

animal once you walk away from our booth with it.

 

Two examples:

 

(1)A woman called as we were packing up to leave an expo. This is exactly what she said after we said "hello". She said, "I came back and got in my car after I went in the store and my gecko is dead." Mind you....it was August and about 5pm. She left her new baby gecko in the car and did a little shopping and returned to the car to find that she had literally cooked her new pet.

 

(2)Sold a gecko to a child at an expo. I took this gecko out of the tub and I held it in my hand. Place this gecko in her hand so she could decide if it was the one she wanted.  It was perfectly fine and intact. Running about my palm as baby geckos do. Her dad purchased the gecko for her after taking a look at it. About 15 minutes or so passed and they came back into the show and said, "look...this gecko has a broken leg and it was dragging it's leg behind it." Upon examining the gecko closely, you could see a blood / bruise spot spreading over it's knee area and it was beginning to swell.

 

We just can't warranty an animal that is placed into a childs hands, or anyones hands at a show that has succumb to mishandling, squishing, dropping, overheating, etc.

 

We will NEVER, NEVER offer animals that are not pristine and they are expected to thrive when they arrive safely to their new home unless they suffer an accident or overheating or freezing from our booth to their new home.

Thank you for the reply and info.  I feel a little silly on the sunglow RAPTOR since I didnt make that connection but really appreciate you clearing it up for me.  Thanks for giving me an idea on pricing also.  That is pretty close to what I was thinking but wanted to check with someone who knows the going rate because I would not want to be "that guy" that kills the market on a morph by charging to little.  I have come accross to many of those with my frogs and it is very frustrating that some people basically give them away when there is alot of work that goes into producing and raising them.  I would not want to do that to you guys and appreciate you being so open about everything and working with me even after the sale.  Thanks again for all your help.

Special announcement about shipping during extreme temperatures:

In extreme cold or heat - temperatures over 82 degrees or under 35, we only ship to Fedex Ship Centers for live animal orders to "Be held at Fedex facility for pick up". 

 

For the well being of the animals we produce, if you refuse to take our advise to have an animal held for pick up, we reserve the right to hold the animal you purchased at our facility until weather conditions are more favorable to be shipped directly to your door. This is the only way that "live arrival guarantee" will be honored by SoutheasternExotics.com.

The animals safety and well being is of utmost importance to us and if it not to you, please choose an animal from another breeder. We will do our best to protect the animals and your investment. In 12 years, we have never lost an animal in shipping and do not want to loose any from this point on. Thank you.

Can I make payments on an animal that I would like to get?

 

Of course, no problem.

 

How do I get started?

 

 

It is $ (amount for shipping) for the shipping. So we add the shipping to the cost of your chosen reptile(s) and divide the total into payments that we agree upon. 

 

To reserve a specific animal, the first payment is 50% of the animals price without shipping. That will mark it as "sold".

 

Payments on animals are treated as if the animal has been sold like a traditional 1 payment purchase.

 

Payments are non refundable if you change your mind. If you change your mind, you will have a store credit in the amount you had paid.

 

If something were to happen to the animal while still here in our facility during the time we are holding it while you are making payments, you will get a full refund of all payments that had been made.

 

You can submit the first payment on the payment when you receive an invoice from us.
